"Gippetti, a 26-year-old who's lived in Campbell his whole life, has been BMX racing since he was 12 and is a regular at the PAL track. But while he's a familiar face in the Bay Area, he's also made a name for himself on a larger scale-- winning national competitions, placing in international competitions and turning professional. And, if all goes right, Gippetti hopes to participate in the 2008 Summer Olympics, the first time the sport will be included in the games."
